New elected Baringo County Deputy Governor Charles Kimaiyo Kipngok has been confirmed dead.
Baringo County Deputy Governor Charles Kipngok died at JKIA while on a flight to Mombasa this evening.
According to Kenya Airways, the deceased developed breathing problems and was pronounced dead by the JKIA medical personnel while the flight was still on the ground.

Charles Kipngok, who hails from Baringo County, is a well-known corporate executive with a career spanning 30 years and previously served as General Manager at the Kenya Tea Development Agency (KTDA).

The deceased will be remembered for taking part in advocating and promoting harmonious industrial relations in the tea industry.
King’ok is reported to have collapsed and died at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) on Wednesday evening while onboard a Kenya Airways flight en route to Mombasa after developing breathing complications.

However, Kipng’ok was Baringo Governor Benjamin Cheboi’s running mate in the recently concluded general election and they clinched the seat on a UDA ticket.
