Zuchu, a Tanzanian singer and songwriter who is signed to WCB Wasafi, a record label founded by Diamond Platnumz came out witha brand new song tagged “Nani”. Zuchu gained popularity with her debut single “Wana” in 2020, which was followed by a string of successful releases.
Zuchu was born on November 22, 1993, in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. She comes from a musical family, as her mother, Khadija Kopa, is a renowned Tanzanian Taarab singer. Zuchu’s musical style combines elements of Bongo Flava, Taarab, and Afro-pop, creating a unique sound.
Since her debut, Zuchu has released several hit songs, including “Cheche” featuring Diamond Platnumz, “Nobody” featuring Joeboy, “Sukari,” and “Nyumba Ndogo.” She has garnered a significant fan base within and beyond Tanzania.
