Adekunle Gold has released his new Extended Playlist tagged “Tio Tequila EP“. As one of the most trending Nigerian singer, songwriter, and graphic designer, Adekunle Gold gained prominence in the Nigerian music industry with his unique blend of highlife, afro-pop, and R&B music.
He began his music career as a member of a band called The Bridge, but rose to fame as a solo artist after releasing his single “Sade” in 2015, which became a massive hit. He subsequently signed a record deal with YBNL Nation, the record label owned by Nigerian rapper Olamide.
Adekunle Gold released his debut studio album, “Gold,” in 2016, which was well-received and included popular songs like “Orente” and “Pick Up.” The album earned him several awards and nominations, solidifying his position as one of the leading artists in Nigeria.
He has since released other successful albums, including “About 30” in 2018 and “Afro Pop, Vol. 1” in 2020. Adekunle Gold is known for his soulful vocals, meaningful lyrics, and infusion of Nigerian cultural elements into his music.
