Serikali Yafuta Tozo
Tanzanian Government has decided to stop his ongoing Tozo Serikali yafuta tozo from October 2022 onwards. This is a good news for all Tanzanian.
The Charges cancelled includes:
(i) Charges for transferring money from banks to mobile networks in all directions.
(ii) Fee for transferring funds within the same bank.
(iii) Fee for transferring money from one bank to another.
The government has stopped the fee for electronic transactions to transfer money from banks to mobile networks and mobile transactions to banks. Advertisement Dar es Salaam.
“The amendments that are expected to be made are as follows; canceling the fee for transferring money from the bank to the telephone network and the telephone to the bank” he said “ stopping the fee for transferring money within one bank, one bank to another bank.
However this does not involve small businesses as it was in the current regulations and exempting the transaction fee on the delivery of cash through a bank agent” Dr. Mwigulu has said that the amendment will begin to apply from October this year.
