Irene Robert Wins ‘Best Female Artist in African Inspirational Music’ At Afrima 2023

Tanzanian Gospel singer, Irene Robert won the AFRIMA (All Africa Music Awards) 2023 International award via her song ‘Hainidhuru‘ featuring Rose Muhando.

Irene Robert win this award under the category of Best Female Artist in African Inspirational Music. Being the only Tanzanian artist winning an international award this year.

The Afrima awards this year was hosted in Dakar, Senegal. The country become the first French-speaking country to host the All Africa Music Awards. It won the hosting rights to the 8th AFRIMA.

Using her Instagram page she wrote, “Asanteni wote mliochukua muda wenu na kunipigia kura. Usiku wa jana, nchini Senegal tumefanikiwa kupata tuzo ya AFRIMA.”

However, this is her 8 International award after, Maranatha East Africa Awards won in 2019, one Maranatha USA Awards won in 2020, two Rhema Awards won in 2021, one Gospel Awards which she won in 2021, one EAEA Award in 2022 as well as this AFRIMA award this year 2023.
