“I have been working on my album for a year now, na sasa niko tayari kwa dunia kuisikia,” Jay Melody wrote in Swahili, which translates to “I have been working on my album for a year now, and now I’m ready for the world to hear it.”

“Therapy” promises to be more than just a collection of songs. Jay Melody describes the album as “tiba” (therapy) in Swahili, hinting that the music will have a therapeutic effect on listeners.
“Siku zote nimekuwa na ndoto ya kufanya mziki mzuri zaidi, asante mungu kwa haya maarifa,” Jay Melody continued. This translates to “I’ve always had a dream of making even better music, thank God for this knowledge.”
