The Miss Kinondoni beauty pageant, which is held annually to select a representative for Miss Tanzania, was launched in Dar es Salaam on Sunday. The event was attended by various Bongo Flava and movie celebrities, as well as beauty and fashion models.
The launch was officiated by Queen J Investment, the organizer of the Miss Kinondoni pageant. Johnson said that this year’s competition will be bigger and better than ever before.
“We are excited to launch the Miss Kinondoni pageant for 2024,” Queen J Investment said. “This year’s competition will be a celebration of beauty, intelligence, and talent. We are looking for a young woman who is not only beautiful, but also intelligent and has a strong sense of community.”
The Miss Kinondoni pageant is open to all women between the ages of 18 and 25 who are residents of Kinondoni District. The competition will consist of several rounds, including swimsuit, evening gown, and interview.
The winner of the Miss Kinondoni pageant will receive a cash prize, a year’s supply of cosmetics, and a chance to represent Kinondoni in the Miss Tanzania pageant.
