Nicki Minaj Avoids Clashing With Legend Lil Wayne After Pushing Forward the Release Date of Her Album ‘Pink Friday 2’

Nicki Minaj, the Queen of Rap, has pushed forward the release date of her upcoming album ‘Pink Friday 2’ to avoid clashing with her mentor and friend, Lil Wayne.

Minaj initially announced that ‘Pink Friday 2’ would be released on October 20, 2023. However, she later pushed back the date to November 17, which is the same day that Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz are scheduled to release their joint album ‘Welcome 2 Collegrove’.

In an Instagram Live video, Minaj explained that she didn’t want to compete with Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz, and that she was happy to move her release date to her birthday, December 8.

“I have so much respect for Lil Wayne,” Minaj said. “He’s my mentor, he’s my friend, and he’s one of the greatest rappers of all time. I would never want to compete with him.”

Minaj also said that she wanted to give ‘Pink Friday 2’ the time and attention it deserves.

“I’ve been working on this album for a long time,” she said. “I want it to be perfect, and I want to make sure that my fans get the best possible experience.”

Fans of Minaj are excited for the release of ‘Pink Friday 2’, which is the sequel to her 2010 debut album of the same name. The album is expected to feature a mix of new and unreleased material, as well as collaborations with some of the biggest names in hip hop.

By pushing back the release date of ‘Pink Friday 2’, Nicki Minaj is showing her respect for Lil Wayne and her commitment to her fans. She is also ensuring that her album has the best possible chance of success
