Ray C, Rehema Chalamila, a Tanzanian singer and songwriter came out with a brand new song “Coco”. Ray C rose to fame in the early 2000s with her unique blend of R&B, Afro-pop, and Bongo Flava music styles.
Ray C’s career began when she won a talent competition in 1999, which led to her signing a record deal and releasing her debut album, “Mapenzi Yangu,” in 2003. The album was a commercial success and established her as one of the leading female artists in Tanzania.
Throughout her career, Ray C has released several hit songs, including “Siwezi,” “Mama Ntilie,” “Umeniweza,” and “Nitoke Nje.” Her music often addresses themes of love, relationships, and social issues.
Aside from her musical success, Ray C has also faced personal challenges, including struggles with drug addiction. However, she has been open about her journey to recovery and has used her experiences to raise awareness about addiction and mental health.
