Rayvanny’s “Mama Tetema” Earns Grammy Nomination

Tanzanian singer Rayvanny has been nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best Latin Pop Album category for his collaboration with Colombian singer Maluma on the song “Mama Tetema”. The song is featured on Maluma’s album “Don Juan”, which was released in May 2023.

Mama Tetema” is a catchy dancehall song that has been a hit in both Tanzania and Latin America. The song has over 46 million views on YouTube and has been streamed over 100 million times on Spotify.

Rayvanny is the first Tanzanian artist to be nominated for a Grammy Award. He is also the first East African artist to be nominated in the Best Latin Pop Album category.
