Veteran Broadcaster Gardner G. Habash Passes Away at 50

Reports indicate that he passed away at the Jakaya Kikwete Cardiac Institute (JKCI) due to high blood pressure. Just four weeks ago, he celebrated his 50th birthday.

On March 17 2024 before his death, His daughter, Malkia Karen, a BongoFlavor musician, shared a post on her Instagram account, posting a video of her beloved father Gardner G. Habash. In the caption, she expressed, “Happy Birthday Babu G cheers to 50 tunakupenda sana” (Happy Birthday Grandpa G, cheers to 50, we love you so much). The accompanying video captured moments of joy, with Malkia Karen lovingly feeding her father, symbolizing the bond of love between a father and his child.
