Harmonize Announces Signing of Two New Artists

Popular Bongo Flava artist Harmonize has announced the signing of two new artists to his label Kondegang. This comes after four artists – Killy, Cheed, Country Boy, and Anjella – departed from the label last year.

Announcing the news on his Instagram account, Harmonize wrote:

“I sit here and watch those who succeeded in misleading other artists who were in Kondegang, convincing them they’d achieve even greater success. At times, even I was swayed, which is why I wholeheartedly blessed their journeys.”

“But sadly, THINGS DIDN’T TURN OUT THAT WAY!! Wisdom, humility, and patience are some of the things that have brought Ibraah to where he is today. Proud of you, brother! I’m taking your advice to heart, even though I almost gave up on supporting other artists. But your words have given me renewed strength! 2 MEMBERS for Kondegang THIS YEAR 2024.”

Harmonize’s words suggest that he believes some of the artists who left Kondegang were misled and promised greater success outside his label. However, he emphasizes that wisdom, humility, and patience are the foundations of true success.

He thanks Ibraah, another popular Bongo Flava artist, for his advice and encouragement in continuing to support other artists.

The signing of two new artists marks a fresh start for Kondegang and demonstrates Harmonize’s commitment to developing his label and providing opportunities for emerging artists.

Commentary

Harmonize’s move to sign new artists has been met with mixed reactions. Some support his decision and believe that Kondegang will continue to be a successful label. Others feel that Harmonize needs to be more careful about the artists he signs, ensuring they have the talent and drive to succeed.

Regardless, there’s no doubt that Harmonize is a hugely influential figure in the Bongo Flava music scene. His decision to sign new artists will impact the industry, and it will be fascinating to see how Kondegang evolves in the future
