Dar es Salaam, Tanzania – December 13, 2023 – Tanzanian Bongo Flava star Meja Kunta is set to release a new single titled “Hassan” on Friday, December 15. The song will be Mejakunta’s first solo release since his collaboration with Ntosh Gazi and Baba Levo, “Chuu,” which was released in November.
“Hassan” is a mid-tempo dancehall track with a catchy melody and upbeat tempo. The song’s lyrics are about a man who is in love with a woman named Hassan. He sings about how she is beautiful, intelligent, and funny.
Mejakunta is one of the most popular Bongo Flava artists in Tanzania. He has released several hit singles, including “Acha Niende,” “Mimi Ni Mejakunta,” and “Nimekumisi.” He is known for his energetic performances and his ability to connect with his fans.
Mejakunta is expected to release the music video for “Hassan” on the same day as the song’s release. The video is being directed by Bongo Flava director Hanscana.
